Net Metering

Generate your own electricity and offset what you take from the grid.

Lower your bills

What is net metering?

Net metering lets you connect a solar system to the electricity grid. During the day your panels generate electricity for your property. Any surplus you don’t use is exported to the grid and credited to you, then used to offset the electricity you draw from the grid later — for example in the evening.

The result is lower electricity bills and a clean, renewable source of power.

PROCESS
How it works

Simple, grid-connected solar

01

Panels generate power

Your solar panels produce electricity during the day and supply your property first.

02

Surplus goes to the grid

Electricity you don’t use is exported to the grid instead of being wasted.

03

Credits offset your usage

What you export is credited and offset against the electricity you draw later.
